EFS Elite Front Strut Shock Absorber for Toyota 4Runner Gen 3 and Prado 90 Series – Part 38-5636

The EFS Elite Front Strut Shock Absorber (38-5636) is purpose-built for Toyota 4Runner Gen 3 and Prado 90 Series vehicles with a 40 mm lift. Developed and tested in Australia, the EFS Elite Series uses Dynamic Motion Control (DMC) valve technology – an adaptive damping system that automatically adjusts to road conditions for maximum control and driver comfort on- or off-road.

Engineered for both daily driving and tough off-road use, the DMC system provides firmer control during cornering and braking while maintaining a smooth, compliant ride over rough surfaces. This strut measures 460 mm open and 346 mm closed with PIN top and EYE lower mounts. Installation requires timing the Helix (step-down) on the spring seat to the rear of the vehicle for correct alignment. It comes complete with a strut top cap and fitting kit for easy installation.
